Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro has a score of 88.2, which is much better than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 score. Even though Huawei P40 Pro and the Motorola Moto G8 Plus were only released 6 months apart, the Huawei P40 Pro construction is somewhat heavier but also a little bit thinner than the Motorola Moto G8 Plus.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit better performance than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM. Huawei P40 Pro features a little sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has a little bit higher resolution of 1200 x 2640 pixels, a bit larger screen and a just a little greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.
Moto G8 Plus counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 Pro features just a little bit longer battery duration than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a 5% greater battery capacity.
Huawei P40 Pro shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting photos and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates, a back camera with a better 50 mega-pixels resolution and a much bigger back camera sensor taking way better quality pictures and videos.
