Huawei P40 Pro is much better than OnePlus 8 UW, having an 88.2 score against 75.9. Even being the best cellphone in our current comparison, Huawei P40 Pro's design is somewhat heavier and thicker than the OnePlus 8 UW. These phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system). The OnePlus 8 UW features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2400px resolution, a quite lower screen density and a little smaller screen.
The OnePlus 8 UW's processing unit is very similar to the processing unit in Huawei P40 Pro, both of them have 8 GB of RAM memory and 8 processing cores. The OnePlus 8 UW has as much storage to store more apps and games as Huawei P40 Pro, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The OnePlus 8 UW has a little longer battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 4300mAh battery size.
Huawei P40 Pro shoots slightly better photographs and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a way larger back camera sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality and a back facing camera with a better 50 mega pixels resolution.
