Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A42's 87 score. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison, we must tell that it is also a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11 version.
Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro features a more vivid display than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a much greater pixel number per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1200 x 2640px.
The Huawei P40 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy A42, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for taking pictures in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a more mega-pixels camera and faster video frame rates.
Galaxy A42 features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB. Samsung Galaxy A42 features greater battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
