The Huawei P40 Pro is better than the Galaxy J7 Max, getting a overall score of 88.2 against 76.1. The Huawei P40 Pro design is incredibly newer, but just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than the Galaxy J7 Max. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has older 10 version and Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat version.

Huawei P40 Pro has a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a larger screen, a bit more pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1200 x 2640px. Huawei P40 Pro features a better storage to install games and applications than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

The Huawei P40 Pro features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM. Huawei P40 Pro features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a camera with lot more MP and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
