Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is a bit better than Galaxy Note Fan Edition's 80.4 overall score. The Huawei P40 Pro construction is newer than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition's, but it is somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier. Huawei P40 Pro has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better screen pixel density and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a slightly better storage for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB.
Huawei P40 Pro has greater battery life than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh. Huawei P40 Pro has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting images and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with better video frame rates, a lot higher resolution back camera and a way bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photos.
