Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S20 is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Pro, with a 94.8 score against 88.2. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S20 has the newer 13 version and Huawei P40 Pro has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy S20 body is somewhat thinner and lighter than Huawei P40 Pro, although they were only released 1 months apart.
Galaxy S20 has a bit better CPU than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S20 also has more RAM. Galaxy S20 counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3200 resolution and a greater pixels count in each inch in the display.
The Huawei P40 Pro captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy S20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with better video frame rate, a lot larger sensor shooting much better quality videos and photos and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy S20 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S20 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy S20, because it has a 5% greater battery size.
