Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is much better than Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 overall score. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2. The Huawei P40 Pro is a much newer cellphone than Galaxy S5 Plus, but it is just a bit thicker and incredibly heavier.
Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a really smaller display, a bit worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a bit inferior pixel number in each inch of display. The Huawei P40 Pro features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with 6 GB more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. The Huawei P40 Pro captures a lot better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger diafragm aperture for better images and videos in low-light situations, a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution back camera, a way bigger sensor capturing way better quality videos and pictures and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 50% larger battery capacity.
