Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's global score of 85.7. The Huawei P40 Pro is a notably newer device than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it is noticeably heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 Pro has the newer 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has Android 5.0 version, offering lots of additional features and some performance improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen pixel density and a quite better resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Huawei P40 Pro features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.
