Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than Xperia 1, having a global score of 88.2 against 82.6. Even though the Huawei P40 Pro is newer than Xperia 1, it is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Huawei P40 Pro and Xperia 1 feature similar processors, and although the Xperia 1 has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia 1 features a more vivid display than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a better resolution of 1644 x 3840. Huawei P40 Pro captures way better photographs and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher video frame rates, a lot bigger sensor and a camera with a much better resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 has a much better storage to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 1 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with longer battery life than Xperia 1, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
