Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia 5 II, getting a general score of 88.2 against 87.2. Although Huawei P40 Pro is a better cellphone than Sony Xperia 5 II, it must be noted that it is also a incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone. Sony Xperia 5 II features a processor that's just as good as the CPU in Huawei P40 Pro, they have a 8 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.
Sony Xperia 5 II and Huawei P40 Pro count with incredibly similar screens, because although the Sony Xperia 5 II has a bit worse 1080 x 2520 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit better display density. Xperia 5 II counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Xperia 5 II also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a much better camera than Xperia 5 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 50 MP resolution back-facing camera.
