Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, with a global score of 88.2 against 76.1. Both devices we are comparing here use Android operating system, but Huawei P40 Pro has the previous 10 version while TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11. The Huawei P40 Pro is an older and just a little bit heavier phone than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, but Huawei was able to make it just a little bit thinner anyway.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a little better hardware performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little more vivid display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1200 x 2640 and a little bit higher pixel quantity per inch of display.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB and 128 GB more internal memory. TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 4200mAh.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a much higher image quality, a back-facing camera with a better resolution and faster video frame rates.
