Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9, having a general score of 88.2 against 83.2. Even though the Huawei P40 Pro is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 9, it's thicker and heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a quite smaller display, a little bit worse pixel density and a little bit lower 1080 x 2340px resolution.
Huawei P40 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9 have similar memory for applications and games, both have the same 128 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi 9 and Huawei P40 Pro count with quite similar processing units, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9 has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Huawei P40 Pro has greater battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
Huawei P40 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting much better quality pictures and videos and a camera with a better 50 megapixels resolution.
