The Huawei P40 Pro is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, with an 88.2 score against 76.6. The Huawei P40 Pro is a just a little bit heavier phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but they have the same thickness. Both devices in this review have the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Huawei P40 Pro features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has a little higher resolution of 1200 x 2640, a just a bit better screen density and a quite bigger display.
The Huawei P40 Pro has just a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit superior processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Pro takes much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much better 3840x2160 video definition and a higher resolution camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has improved battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size.
