Huawei P40 features a little faster CPU than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P40 has improved battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity. Huawei P40 takes way better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting photos or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a way bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a lot more megapixels camera in the back and faster video frame rate.
Huawei P40 is more expensive than Google Pixel 3a, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
