Comparison review
Huawei P40 is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Duo, having a general score of 86.4 against 78.8. These phones have the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Although the Huawei P40 and the Microsoft Surface Duo were released only 5 months apart, Huawei P40's body is much thicker but also much lighter than the Microsoft Surface Duo.
Huawei P40 has a bit more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater count of pixels in each display inch. The Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a CPU that is just as good as the Huawei P40 one, they have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM.
The Huawei P40 takes much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger aperture. Microsoft Surface Duo's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Huawei P40's one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P40 has just a little better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has a 6 percent larger battery capacity.
