Comparison review
The Huawei P40 is slightly better than the Moto G9 Plus, having a score of 86.4 against 80.5. Both phones we compare here come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding operating system features. Even though Huawei P40 and Moto G9 Plus were released with only a couple of months difference, Huawei P40 is somewhat thinner and lighter.
The Huawei P40 features a slightly better screen than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher pixels count in each screen inch. The Huawei P40 counts with a little bit better processing power than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 has a bit better camera than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera with a way lower resolution and a smaller aperture which is not good for taking pictures and video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way larger sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.
The Moto G9 Plus features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Moto G9 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus features superior battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
