The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is better than Moto Z3 Play's global score of 76.3. Huawei P40's body is newer, but thicker and heavier than Moto Z3 Play. Huawei P40 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 has a slightly better display than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340, a little larger display and a little more pixels per inch in the display. Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Huawei P40, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Huawei P40 has better battery performance than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 27 percent bigger battery capacity. Huawei P40 takes a lot better photographs and videos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a much higher 50 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera, higher video frame rate and a way bigger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.
