Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is better than OnePlus 9's global score of 76. Although Huawei P40 is older than the OnePlus 9, it's construction is just a little thinner and a bit lighter. These phones use Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 has an older 10 version and OnePlus 9 has Android 11 version.
The Huawei P40 counts with just a bit better looking display than OnePlus 9, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number per inch of screen. The Huawei P40 and the OnePlus 9 both count with quite similar processing units, and although the OnePlus 9 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
OnePlus 9 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Huawei P40, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory. The OnePlus 9 captures slightly better videos and photos than Huawei P40, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and dull colors and a back camera with less mega pixels, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better low light images and videos and a much better 7680x4320 video quality.
The OnePlus 9 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has an 18 percent bigger battery size.
The Huawei P40 is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes buying this phone an easy decision.
