Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A52 is just a bit better than Huawei P40, getting a global score of 90.7 against 86.4. The Samsung Galaxy A52 body has the same thickness than the Huawei P40, but it is just a little bit heavier. The Huawei P40 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A52. Both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Huawei P40 has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A52, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels in each inch of screen. The Huawei P40 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A52, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, a much less mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much bigger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
