Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.4, which is just a bit better than Huawei P40's 86.4 global score. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is extremely older than Huawei P40, it's body is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10 version.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a sharper display than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy S6's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as Huawei P40's one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal storage.
Galaxy S6 features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P40, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and a GPU. Huawei P40 features a way better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S6, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has a way bigger sensor, better 60 fps video frame rates and a way higher resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy S6 costs a bit more than the Huawei P40, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
