Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a global score of 88.3, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P40's 86.4 score. Both devices we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a newer 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a newer phone than Huawei P40, but it is heavier and somewhat thicker.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a little better performance than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 has a bit sharper display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little inferior pixel count in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.
The Huawei P40 takes clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 also counts with a back facing camera with a better 50 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4's memory to install applications and games is just as good as the Huawei P40 one, both of them have the same internal memory. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
