Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is much better than the Huawei P50 Pocket's 73.4 general score. Huawei P40 Pro's body is older, thicker and just a bit heavier than the Huawei P50 Pocket. Huawei P40 Pro works with Android 10 operating system, while Huawei P50 Pocket comes with HarmonyOS operating system.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a much more powerful processing unit than Huawei P50 Pocket. They have the same number of cores and 8 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little sharper screen than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has a bit worse 1200 x 2640 resolution and a bit smaller display, they both have the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Huawei P40 Pro captures much better photographs and videos than Huawei P50 Pocket, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate and a back facing camera with more mega-pixels.
Huawei P50 Pocket counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory. The Huawei P40 Pro has just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei P50 Pocket, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
