Comparison review
The LG Q8 has a general score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Huawei P50 Pocket's 73.4 general score. LG Q8 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, while Huawei P50 Pocket comes with HarmonyOS OS. The LG Q8 is an a lot older and a little bit thicker cellphone than the Huawei P50 Pocket, but LG was able to make it much lighter anyway.
LG Q8 features a sharper display than Huawei P50 Pocket, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher screen pixels density. LG Q8 has a much powerful CPU than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has less RAM and 4 less processing cores.
The Huawei P50 Pocket has a slightly better storage capacity to install games and applications than LG Q8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei P50 Pocket has longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
The Huawei P50 Pocket features a bit better camera than LG Q8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P50 Pocket also has a back facing camera with a lot better 40 MP resolution.
