The Motorola Moto G 5G has a global score of 81.5, which is better than the Huawei P50 Pocket's 73.4 overall score. Motorola Moto G 5G comes with Android 10 operating system, while Huawei P50 Pocket comes with HarmonyOS operating system. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Motorola Moto G 5G is an older, notably thicker and heavier phone than Huawei P50 Pocket.

The Moto G 5G has a much powerful processing unit than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Moto G 5G has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite smaller display.

The Huawei P50 Pocket counts with a little bit more memory capacity to install applications and games than Motorola Moto G 5G, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Motorola Moto G 5G has greater battery life than Huawei P50 Pocket, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Motorola Moto G 5G captures slightly better videos and photos than Huawei P50 Pocket, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Moto G 5G also has a higher resolution back facing camera and a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and videos.
