Comparison review
The Galaxy A40 is a bit better than Huawei P50 Pocket, with a general score of 79.6 against 73.4. The Galaxy A40 body is a lot lighter than the Huawei P50 Pocket, but it's a bit thicker and was released many years before. Galaxy A40 counts with Android 11 OS, and Huawei P50 Pocket has HarmonyOS OS.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 features a little more vivid screen than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has a bit smaller display, a just a little less pixels per inch in the display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Huawei P50 Pocket counts with a quite bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy A40 features a much greater hardware performance than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei P50 Pocket has longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A40, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3100mAh. The Huawei P50 Pocket takes better photographs and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photography and videos, it also counts with a lot better video quality and a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
