Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than Huawei P50 Pocket, with a general score of 83.3 against 73.4. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is a much older and a little bit thicker phone than Huawei P50 Pocket, but Xiaomi managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway. The Xiaomi Mi 8 comes with Android 10 operating system, while Huawei P50 Pocket counts with HarmonyOS operating system.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a much better performing processing unit than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a better display than Huawei P50 Pocket, although it has a little bit lower amount of pixels per inch in the display, a quite smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2248.
Huawei P50 Pocket features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same video quality, the Huawei P50 Pocket also has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera. Xiaomi Mi 8 has as much storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Huawei P50 Pocket one, they have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P50 Pocket counts with superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has an 18% greater battery size.
