Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 has a global score of 87, which is a bit better than Huawei P50 Pro's score of 80. Even though Galaxy A42 and Huawei P50 Pro were released with only a couple of months difference, Galaxy A42's construction is just a little bit thicker but just a little bit lighter. Galaxy A42 comes with Android 11 operating system, while Huawei P50 Pro counts with HarmonyOS operating system.
Huawei P50 Pro features a better screen than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei P50 Pro also has a way better 1228 x 2700 resolution and way more pixels per display inch. Galaxy A42 features a bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P50 Pro, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB.
Huawei P50 Pro counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P50 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy A42 takes better videos and photos than Huawei P50 Pro, although it has a camera in the back with a lower resolution, they both have a same size aperture.
