Asus ROG Phone 8 has a global score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 general score. Asus ROG Phone 8 is a much newer phone than Huawei P9 Plus, although it is a lot heavier and notably thicker. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has the previous 14 version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei P9 Plus counts with a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a more vivid display than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a larger display.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a very superior camera than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a back facing camera with way more mega-pixels, a larger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations and a lot better 7680x4320 video quality.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features much more storage to install games and applications than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity.
