Comparison review
Huawei Mate 10 is just a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus, with a score of 78.9 against 75.5. Although the Huawei Mate 10 is newer than the Huawei P9 Plus, it is heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 10 has an older 10 version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei P9 Plus features a bit more powerful processor than Huawei Mate 10. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 4 GB RAM. The Huawei Mate 10 features a much better looking display than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a quite larger screen, a bit more pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 10 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a 12 megapixels resolution back camera and the same sensor size, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a way larger aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments and a much better video resolution.
Huawei P9 Plus and Huawei Mate 10 both feature quite similar memory capacity for games and applications, both have the same internal memory and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 features longer battery performance than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
