Comparison review
Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a general score of 79.2, which is just a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 global score. Even though the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is newer than the Huawei P9 Plus, it's just a little bit heavier and thicker. Huawei Mate 10 Pro counts with a screen that is just as good as the display in Huawei P9 Plus, although the Huawei Mate 10 Pro also has a just a bit better display density, a little bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2160.
Huawei P9 Plus has a little bit better memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB. Huawei P9 Plus and Huawei Mate 10 Pro both count with quite similar processing units, and although the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro counts with longer battery performance than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has an 18 percent more battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same resolution back facing camera, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro also has a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot bigger diafragm aperture for better photos in poorly lited environments.
