The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is better than Huawei P9 Plus, with a overall score of 90.5 against 75.5. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and incredibly thicker than the Huawei P9 Plus. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has the older 10 version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a bit better looking screen than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a little higher quantity of pixels per display inch, a bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1176 x 2400. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G takes greater videos and photos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a camera in the back with a much better resolution, a much larger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a much higher video definition.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has superior battery duration than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 32 percent more battery size.
