Huawei P Smart (2020) has a general score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus's score of 75.5. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P Smart (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Huawei P Smart (2020) is a way newer phone than the Huawei P9 Plus, although it is somewhat thicker and a bit heavier.
Huawei P Smart (2020) counts with a display that is very similar to the display in Huawei P9 Plus, although the Huawei P Smart (2020) also has a just a bit more pixels per inch of display, a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little larger screen. Huawei P9 Plus features just a little better processing power than Huawei P Smart (2020). Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Huawei P Smart (2020) features a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P9 Plus captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P Smart (2020), although it has a camera in the back with lesser MP resolution, a worse 1920x1080 video quality and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos.
The Huawei P Smart (2020) has a battery life that is just as good as the Huawei P9 Plus one.
