LG G5 has a global score of 76.1, which is slightly better than the Huawei P9 Plus's global score of 75.5. Even though LG G5 and the Huawei P9 Plus were only released with a couple of months difference, LG G5's construction is just a bit lighter but also a little thicker. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but LG G5 has 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
LG G5 features a bit sharper display than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a greater amount of pixels per screen inch. The Huawei P9 Plus has just a little better processing power than LG G5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei P9 Plus also has 4 more cpu cores.
LG G5 counts with a bit better camera than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a back camera with a way higher resolution, a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution, a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture. LG G5 features more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei P9 Plus counts with longer battery lifetime than LG G5, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity.
