Moto G8 Power is just a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus, having a score of 76 against 75.5. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Moto G8 Power has an older 10 version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Moto G8 Power's design is much newer, but somewhat heavier and a lot thicker than Huawei P9 Plus.

The Huawei P9 Plus has a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G8 Power, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher amount of pixels in each screen inch. The Huawei P9 Plus features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8 Power. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.

Moto G8 Power counts with a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Moto G8 Power also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G8 Power has a way better battery performance than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3400mAh.

The Motorola Moto G8 Power shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a lot more megapixels back facing camera, a way bigger aperture for better low-light images and video, a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
