Motorola Moto G9 Play is a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus, getting a 76.7 score against 75.5. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto G9 Play has the previous 10 version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat. Motorola Moto G9 Play's body is way newer, but heavier and a lot thicker than Huawei P9 Plus.
Huawei P9 Plus features just a bit better processing power than Motorola Moto G9 Play. They have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor. The Huawei P9 Plus features a brighter screen than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
Moto G9 Play counts with a bit more storage for games and applications than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G9 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G9 Play features a much longer battery duration than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
Moto G9 Play captures way better videos and photos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Moto G9 Play also has a way larger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low-light situations, a way more mega-pixels camera in the back and a much larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality.
