Moto Z3 has a general score of 77.6, which is a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 overall score. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Moto Z3 has 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat, giving a couple nice extra features. The Moto Z3 design has the same thickness than the Huawei P9 Plus, but it is just a bit lighter.
Moto Z3 counts with a display that is just as good as Huawei P9 Plus's display, although the Moto Z3 also has a bit larger display, a little more pixels per inch of screen and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Motorola Moto Z3 has a processor that's just as good as the processing unit in Huawei P9 Plus, both have the same RAM amount and 8 CPU cores.
The Moto Z3 has a bit better camera than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a 0.34 inches sensor and the same resolution camera, the Moto Z3 also has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photos and video and a lot higher (4K) video quality. The Moto Z3 features a much better storage for applications and games than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Moto Z3 also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei P9 Plus has a bit superior battery lifetime than Moto Z3, because it has a 3400mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
