Comparison review
Galaxy A51 is much better than Huawei P9 Plus, having a score of 85.5 against 75.5. The Galaxy A51 design is a lot newer, but a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than Huawei P9 Plus. These devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy A51 has the previous 11 version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei P9 Plus has a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A51. They have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Huawei P9 Plus and Samsung Galaxy A51 feature extremely similar displays, although the Samsung Galaxy A51 also has a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a bigger screen and a just a little more pixels per inch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy A51 features improved battery life than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy A51 has a very superior camera than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a way bigger back camera sensor which gives a lot better photo and video quality, a larger aperture and a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution back camera.
