Galaxy Note5 has an overall score of 80.2, which is just a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 overall score. Despite being the best phone we are comparing here, the Galaxy Note5 body is a little thicker and a little bit heavier than Huawei P9 Plus. Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit better screen than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a quite bigger screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Huawei P9 Plus counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei P9 Plus also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei P9 Plus features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note5. They have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 takes clearer photos and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a bigger camera aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited environments, a way higher video definition, a bigger camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher 16 MP resolution.
Huawei P9 Plus has a little better battery duration than Galaxy Note5, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
