Samsung Galaxy S7 has a global score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Huawei P9 Plus's overall score of 75.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy S7 and Huawei P9 Plus were released with only 1 months difference, Samsung Galaxy S7's design is a little lighter but also somewhat thicker. Galaxy S7 has a much better display than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
The Huawei P9 Plus has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S7, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei P9 Plus features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S7, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei P9 Plus also has more cores.
Huawei P9 Plus counts with just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy S7, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. The Galaxy S7 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a 12 mega-pixels camera in the back, the Galaxy S7 also has a bigger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality, a lot better (4K) video quality and a way larger aperture to capture better captures and video in low light environments.
