The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus, with a 77.6 score against 75.5. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has the older 12 version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro body is newer, but way heavier and notably thicker than Huawei P9 Plus.
The Huawei P9 Plus features a much powerful CPU than Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei P9 Plus counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little better pixel number per inch of display.
Galaxy XCover 6 Pro takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has a much smaller sensor, it also counts with a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera and a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in poorly lited situations. The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1 TB.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro has superior battery performance than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity.
