Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a bit better than the Huawei P9 Plus, getting a 77.7 score against 75.5. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a a little thicker and a little heavier phone than the Huawei P9 Plus. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it provides some additional features and performance enhancements.
The Huawei P9 Plus features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a screen that is very similar to Huawei P9 Plus's screen, because although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a little bit lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 and a little bit bigger display.
Huawei P9 Plus counts with slightly more storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's battery life is just as good as the battery life in Huawei P9 Plus, although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a 1% smaller battery size.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite shoots a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a back camera with a 12 MP resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a much better 3840x2160 video definition, a larger aperture and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
