Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a score of 75.9, which is a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 general score. Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has Android OS, and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE construction is notably newer than Huawei P9 Plus's, but it is a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier.
The Huawei P9 Plus has a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE features a little bit better looking display than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, a quite bigger screen and a quite better display pixel density.
Huawei P9 Plus features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei P9 Plus also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB. Huawei P9 Plus has just a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has a 3400mAh battery size instead of 3120mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a slightly better camera than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a 12 MP resolution camera in the back, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE also has a lot higher (4K) video definition, a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture.
