Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a general score of 83.2, which is better than Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 score. Even though Xiaomi Mi 9 is a lot newer than Huawei P9 Plus, it's a bit thicker and a little bit heavier. Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a larger display and a little higher screen density.
Huawei P9 Plus features a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi 9 counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a greater camera than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a lot larger back camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and photographs, a camera with a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low light images and videos.
The Huawei P9 Plus features just a bit better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 3 percent greater battery size.
