Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has an overall score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus's 75.5 general score. Both phones in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P9 Plus has Android 7.0 Nougat version, so it gives you a lot of extra features and performance enhancements. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE's body is incredibly newer and just a little bit lighter, but a little bit thicker than the Huawei P9 Plus.
The Huawei P9 Plus and the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE feature similar CPUs, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE counts with a bit better looking display than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution, a little bit better amount of pixels in each inch in the display and a little larger display.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE shoots way better photographs and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a larger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos, a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels, a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way higher (4K) video resolution.
The Huawei P9 Plus features a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB. Huawei P9 Plus features just a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3070mAh.
