Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi A2 is a little bit better than Huawei P9 Plus, with a 78 score against 75.5. Xiaomi Mi A2's body is newer than the Huawei P9 Plus's, but it is a little bit heavier and just a little bit thicker. The Huawei P9 Plus and the Xiaomi Mi A2 both have incredibly similar screens, although the Xiaomi Mi A2 also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch and a little bit larger screen.
Huawei P9 Plus features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi A2, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have 8 processing cores. Xiaomi Mi A2 features just a bit better camera than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same back camera sensor size, the Xiaomi Mi A2 also has a lot better (4K) video resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and video in poorly lited environments.
The Huawei P9 Plus counts with a slightly better memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi A2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Huawei P9 Plus has a bit superior battery duration than Xiaomi Mi A2, because it has a 13 percent larger battery capacity.
