Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Max is just a bit better than Huawei P9 Plus, with a 77.5 score against 75.5. The Xiaomi Mi Max is a better cellphone than the Huawei P9 Plus, we must tell that it's also just a bit thicker and incredibly heavier. The Huawei P9 Plus features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, the Huawei P9 Plus also counts with a just a little better pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P9 Plus has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount.
The Xiaomi Mi Max captures just a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures. The Xiaomi Mi Max features a very superior battery performance than Huawei P9 Plus, because it has a 43 percent more battery capacity.
