Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is slightly better than the Huawei P9 Plus, having a score of 81.2 against 75.5. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is newer than Huawei P9 Plus, it is a bit thicker and heavier. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a screen that's very similar to Huawei P9 Plus's display, although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a quite better 1080 x 2160 resolution, a little bit more pixels per display inch and a little larger screen. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P9 Plus, and although they both have a 0.34 inches back-facing camera sensor and a same resolution back facing camera, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a much higher 3840x2160 video quality and a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P9 Plus, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to Huawei P9 Plus's battery duration.
