Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is better than the Huawei P9, having an 81.4 score against 72.9. The Huawei P20 Pro body is newer than the Huawei P9's, but it's somewhat thicker and heavier. The Huawei P9 has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen.
The Huawei P9 and the Huawei P20 Pro both feature incredibly similar processing units, and although the Huawei P20 Pro has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
