Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 40 is slightly better than the Huawei P9, getting a 77.2 score against 72.9. Even though the Motorola Edge 40 is a lot newer than Huawei P9, it is somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker. The Huawei P9 features a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 5 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Motorola Edge 40 features a bit sharper display than Huawei P9, because although it has a bit inferior pixels amount per inch of screen, it also counts with a larger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Motorola Edge 40 features more storage for games and applications than Huawei P9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Motorola Edge 40 takes a lot better videos and photos than Huawei P9, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a way higher 50 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a much larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography and video and a much bigger sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs.
The Motorola Edge 40 has a very superior battery life than Huawei P9, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
