Comparison review
Galaxy A40 has an overall score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P9's 72.9 general score. The Galaxy A40 design is incredibly newer and just a little lighter, but somewhat thicker than the Huawei P9. The Huawei P9 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A40, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
Samsung Galaxy A40 features a screen that's just as good as the display in Huawei P9, although the Samsung Galaxy A40 also has a quite bigger display, a just a little higher pixels density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Huawei P9, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB and 32 GB more internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 has just a bit better camera than Huawei P9, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a much bigger aperture to take better low light captures and videos, a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher resolution camera.
